NETWORK can affect your net worth and your quality of life for generations to come. What if all you had to rely on was the word of others in your network? Would you be able to have enough degrees of separation to access the knowledge and support you need in finance, friendship, business, coaching, sales or health advice? And even if you knew the right people, would they be willing to help you with your business and/or help a family member in need simply based on your phone call or text. Would they even know who you were? If you are not sure, then it is definitely time to work on building your network. I had the great honor of speaking on a stage that was graced by Dr. George C. Fraser. Due to COVID-19, it was a virtual stage and since I didn't have to travel to return home or go the next event I was blessed to be able to watch many of the amazing presenters. One of the presenters was Dr. George C. Fraser. I found Dr. Fraser to be extremely inspiring. What I found most astonishing was his system for networking. Dr. Fraser outlined 7 mistakes that people make when networking. To be honest, I am not good at networking so I am pretty sure that I have made them all. One of the biggest mistakes was networking to get instead of give. Another was neglecting your personal network for your business network. I am sure that many people found out how important their personal network is in the pandemic. |
